We had dinner here on an early weekday evening. We had reservations but there was still plenty of open seating. We had three rolls and I enjoyed all of them. (I wish I could remember the names of the rolls!) Our server was amazing and gave great recommendations. The rolls came out incredibly quick as well. I would recommend this location and I would come again if we were in the area.

Food: Tasty! Delicious! Try it! Friends and I tried the Waxing Crescent, and the Third Quarter. Waxing Crescent: Different textures with the crab and friend soft shell. And a little spicy (it's about 3/10 spicy). Third Quarter: It's a flavor and texture trip. Ambiance: Dark af haha, my friend couldn't read it under the lighting, but I could. The vibe is casual-ish or can be dressy-ish, but vibe isn't fru-fru-stuck-up-I'm-better-than-you y'kno. Service: Got seated very quickly on a weekday, and had a great spot in the restaurant.

Great sushi place downtown to go to for an experience that isn't crazy expensive!! We both enjoyed the rolls that we got, especially the waning gibbous roll. We would have liked more cocktail options, but the drinks we got were very good. The patio was pretty empty at 6pm so we had it to ourselves, and the area/street isn't the greatest in town, but we enjoyed people watching for the most part :) the music inside is pretty loud, and it went from early 2000s club music to early R&B which was enjoyable & not expected! Our waiter was really lovely and continued to check in on us. Good quality for the price. Would come here again.

If you're looking for quality in both service and food, this is the place to go!! We were looking for a place to eat for my best friends' birthday, and I saw a review of the food here along with the menu and it sounded great. So we decided to come here and we definitely did not leave disappointed. Vibe - From the lighting outside to the cozy but somehow spacious interior (the mirrors are a good touch to help it feel bigger inside) it's a really cute place. Also glad the music inside was good, not overly explicit songs (mainly from 2010s) and also not too loud so we could have conversations. Service - our waitress was very helpful, providing recommendations and had a nice cheerful attitude. The rest of the staff that helped us throughout was also very friendly and very quick service, as soon as we were done with our plates they came to clean them up so we wouldn't be cluttered with dishes. They also brought out a little birthday treat for my friend which was so cute! Everyone was very nice here :) Food - ah yes, my favorite part. I am a sushi lover and have been to many a sushi restaurant. I had the Waxing Gibbous roll and the Spicy Yellowtail roll, and they were SO GOOD!! The waxing gibbous had a great kick to it, if you're used to spicy it's not crazy spicy but the flavor is really good. I was actually surprised though at how much I liked the spicy yellowtail, almost better than the other one simply because you can taste the fish by itself more in the yellowtail roll and it's just so fresh tasting. I didn't get to try the nigiri this time but looking forward to it on the next trip! Price - it's definitely up a bit on the price side if you like to eat a lot, the average cost per roll for our group was about $23 I believe but for the location + quality of service & food I think it's worth it. Will definitely be back with my hubby to try the Toro, nigiri, and other yummy rolls!!

It was so good; I went two days in a row!! I wanted some great sushi and Full Moon did not disappoint. Both days Chef's choice, the spicy garlic edamame and was so good we ordered a second one both days. I took a different set of friends the second day and the waiter was so kind to me. The service was friendly and informed. The ambience was lively, you can certainly dress up or come casual. I rated it in my top 5 sushi restaurants visited to date, which says a lot. Hands down much better value over some fancier sushi places. I chose Full Moon over Nobu, where I have been many times.

Had a show at the civic so decided to have dinner here beforehand. The reservation was right when they opened so the place was not busy. Our waiter was nice and explained the menu to us. It was a good sized restaurant with two different sushi bars and table seating on the back wall. I will say the music was a bit much. It was techno thumping (and I mean thumping) and it was a bit loud. The bass was def working. The food was good but the rolls were a bit smaller. We also ordered one of the sashimi platters ($100) and it was pretty good. One of the fish (can't remember which one) had kind of a strong fishy smell and it was not my favorite but the salmon was on point and the rest of the fish were very fresh and tasty. We ordered 3 rolls on top of that and that helped fill us up. Harvest moon - nice and fresh with a cucumber wrap. Milky Way (ordered this twice) - the waiter said this was the most popular roll. It was pretty delicious. This roll is a bit more decadent and the salmon was so delicate and flavorful. I would recommend trying it and seeing for yourself.

Came here on a busy Wednesday evening. I was lucky to get a seat at that point but service overall was pretty good for how busy they were that evening. Sushi was good and overall ambiance was nice. I kept watching the sushi chefs do their magic -- it's actually pretty neat watching them do what they do best! Would definitely come back!

Fun ambiance and great food and service. Came here with a small friend group and had a wonderful evening. Fair warning drinkers: no liquor, so the cocktails are sake based. We mainly drank sake anyway though so didn't bother us. We had a nice little variety: garlic edamame was flavorful, good. Nigiri/sashimi was super fresh and tasty! Tried a few rolls: waxing gibbous, harvest moon, and spicy tuna roll-all awesome, super fresh and complex flavor profiles. The spicy tuna crispy rice was our favorite and we had to get a second order-SO GOOD.

We enjoyed our meal but the restaurant is understaffed, at least for our visit. Our server was terrific and said "I'm not even supposed to be working today," but still we did not see him enough for what I'd consider great service. Still, the food was very good. The highlight was the ebi (live) shrimp, which was served different than I've had it before. Typically they bring the nigiri with 2 fried heads at the same time. Here, they brought the heads out in a small bowl of ice, and fried them later. This had a couple distinct benefits: (1) you are more than just reasonably certain the shrimp was not only fresh, but alive seconds earlier (2) the heads continue to gesticulate because the nerves still function, which serves the purpose of freaking out the customers looking on We also had the 3-quarter roll, milky way, and spicy tuna shrimp on crispy rice...all very good.
